“All believers were united in heart and mind.  And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.”  “There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”

Acts 4: 32,34

PRAYER!  (we need God’s guidance in our decisions and delivery of instruction and we need His support and encouragement. We also need higher enrollment and more income!)

MANNA SCRIP PROGRAM: Take an order form (or download from our website at www.salemcs.org)

BOX TOPS 4 EDUCATION:  Clip box tops and send them to us and/or shop online to earn up to 8% of purchases for SCS.  (www.boxtops4education.com)

TARGET: When you shop at Target and use your Target card, SCS will earn 1% of the purchase amount if you designate our school as your choice.

GENERAL DONATIONS: It is our goal to keep tuition as low as possible in order to provide our Christian-rooted education to everyone seeking it.  We rely on donations and fundraisers to “close the gap” between the cost of education and the low tuition rate.  These donations fulfill needs such as employee salaries/benefits, classroom supplies, updates in technology, athletic equipment, professional development for the faculty, library books, and repairs/replacement of furniture in our buildings.

NEEDS LIST: We have an extensive “Needs List’, organized into groups based on urgency.  These items range from $10-$100,000.  If you would like to view the list of needs, please call the principal, Cindi DiIorio, at 773-227-5580.

ANNUAL FUND: Salem Christian School continues to emphasize academic excellence while seeking to build character and values within the life of each student.  Many of the students attending Salem, and many seeking to attend the school, are in need of financial assistance.  As more and more requests are submitted for assistance and the loss of many students to free, public schools (without the Christian-emphasis, I might add) becomes a reality, our goal is to build a scholarship base for qualified students.

God expects us to educate everyone about His promise of salvation should they accept Jesus into their hearts.  Christian education is at the base of God’s plan- we provide the teachings and we dedicate ourselves to helping the poor and needy.  However, we become financially weakened due to a contemporary society which places too little emphasis on what we do and why.  We need help in order to continue to deliver what God’s ultimate curriculum-His Word!
